Looking up at the stars tonight

I count the blessings that I have

That I have parents that love me

And a brother that understands me

Friends that care for me

There are times that I feel all alone

So much that darkness comes in

Drags me along on its path

Hurting everyone that I didn’t know I was

But just like the stars tonight

Memories start to light my life up

I close my eyes and I can see

Everyone that cares for me

I know that Life has not been easy

And I really don’t know what life is about

But I know that I would not be where I am

Without everyone that I have meet

So here I stand counting my blessings

The moonlight shining on me

Quietly I say  

Thank you for being my friend.
